On 17th June Muslims are going to celebrate Bakr-Eid in India and a few other countries as well. In many countries, this is accounted as a public holiday. India is no exception thus many people are asking "Will stock market open tomorrow?" or "Will stock market open on Monday?"
As per the official update from BSE and NSE website the Indian stock market will be closed on Monday 17th June on account of Bakr-id and will resume trading on June 18.
NSE and BSE will remain closed on June 17 for the equity segment, equity derivative segment and SLB segment as well. Furthermore, Multi Commodity Exchange India Limited (MCX) will also be closed on June 17 for the morning session. Trading will resume in the evening from 5 pm to 11:30/11:55 pm.
Stock market holiday in 2024:
The upcoming holiday in the stock market is July 17. On account of Muharram Market will be closed for trading.

As per the BSE website, the stock market will be closed on August 15(Independence Day), October 2(Gandhi Jayanti), November 1(Diwali), November 15(Gurunanak Jayanti), and December 25(Christmas).
